Director, Media and Communications Strategy

Carrie joined World Central Kitchen in 2024 after working as a private media consultant, in Washington, DC. Her background is rich in international experience as an award-winning broadcast producer. Carrie began her career at CNN, where she covered a wide range of global issues, including international and domestic politics, war, terrorism, national security, and extreme weather events, while based in both Atlanta and Washington, DC. At the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, she oversaw the production of the 15-hour documentary series America at a Crossroads, which explored the impact of 9/11 around the globe. A passionate storyteller, Carrie combines her expertise in narrative and communications with a deep commitment to serving others in her work at WCK. She enjoys exploring food, culture, and travel with her husband and family, and is driven to use her skills to make a meaningful impact on communities in need.
