Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

Update from Brazil 🎥 WCK’s Mario is in Itapua, a community south of Porto Alegre where an estimated 80% of the town remains under water. Our team delivered sandwiches to displaced families today and will return with hot meals.

WCK, alongside local partners, is providing more than 4,500 meals daily for families in shelters across southern Lebanon. While some people have relocated to live with relatives in the region, many remain in makeshift shelters. We are cooking local favorites like this lamb and green bean stew.

WCK’s team in Brazil met Ricardo, a local truck driver, while assessing food needs in communities around Porto Alegre. Roads in the region are difficult to traverse so Ricardo volunteered his truck to help us reach families in the area. We transferred meals from our cars onto his truck and delivered food to people in Vila Celso.
