    • Jason Collis

    Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

    Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

    • WCK’s Juan Camilo is checking in from Brazil, where our team is on the way to Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul. Thousands of people have been displaced from their homes due to flooding in the last few weeks, so we are working quickly to scale our efforts and provide meals to impacted communities.

    • WCK’s kitchens in Deir al-Balah and Al-Mawasi are cooking tens of thousands of meals for families displaced by fighting in Rafah and northern Gaza. Our Field Kitchen in Rafah, where we have cooked millions of meals since October, has had to close for now as Israel’s offensive in the city continues.

    • Kostiantynivka is near the ever-shifting frontline in eastern Ukraine, and locals endure relentless artillery shelling as Russian attacks intensify. WCK distributed 1,000 food kits, which included fresh vegetables, to seniors who are unable to leave and in dire need of support.
