Juan Camilo Jiménez is a dedicated humanitarian leader with more than a decade of experience managing disaster responses and humanitarian projects worldwide.

Since joining WCK in 2022, he has led more than 20 response efforts, playing a key role in crisis interventions across the globe. His leadership has been instrumental in responding to hurricanes in Mexico, massive floods in Brazil, migration crises in Armenia, cyclones in the Indian Ocean, and, most notably, establishing the first maritime corridor to Gaza in 20 years. A skilled mobilizer, he excels at forging partnerships and empowering local stakeholders to drive sustainable impact.

Born to Colombian immigrants in Honduras, Jiménez is based in Mexico and works globally. His multicultural background fuels his commitment to social justice and humanitarian causes. He holds a Master’s degree in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response from the University of Manchester, earned through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, and has worked with multiple U.N. agencies, gaining expertise in emergency response, community outreach, conflict resolution, and protection.
