    Julie Bowen is Senior Vice President, Operations, Outreach and Chief Legal Officer of The MITRE Corporation. Julie is MITRE’s Chief Legal Officer and oversees an in-house legal team that advises MITRE’s leadership and employees on all legal matters including cyber security issues, contracting, international and global presence, intellectual property, employment matters, healthcare law, and national security issues. She also runs MITRE’s operations, including enterprise risk management, global security services, facilities and outreach and global partnerships.  

    Julie has been with MITRE since 2006. Prior to that she held several chief legal officer and general counsel positions, as well as vice president of joint ventures and alliances at several technology and logistics companies.

    Julie serves as a director of WidePoint Corporation and serves on the advisory board of Manetu, Inc. She also serves on the board of Boulder Crest Foundation. Julie graduated with honors from The Catholic University of America, with both bachelor’s and law degrees.
