Liz Caselli-Mechael

Vice President, Communications and Marketing

Liz supports World Central Kitchen's communications to deliver critical information on services and help bring stories from the field to our global audience. Prior to her time at World Central Kitchen, Liz led owned and digital content for Nestlé globally, working with colleagues around the world to develop in-house production and social media capabilities to tell stories of responsible ingredient sourcing, climate change action, product innovation, and culture. Previously, she has also led issue and crisis management and digital communications at the International Food Information Council (IFIC/FoodInsight) and supported USAID food security projects with smallholder farmers. She has served as Chairman of the Board at Miriam's Kitchen, a Washington DC nonprofit dedicated to ending chronic homelessness, and is currently a board member at the Coffee Quality Institute, dedicated to improving coffee and the lives of those who produce it. Liz is passionate about leveraging technology and communications to 'lift the curtain' on stories of food and celebrate the many powerful roles that food plays in our lives, especially in times of need.
