Margaret Sofio
Margaret Sofio is an accomplished executive human resources leader with deep expertise in guiding organizations through growth, transformation, and culture-building. She joined World Central Kitchen in August 2024 as interim Chief People Officer through her role as an Executive HR Consultant with The O’Connor Group, and now steps into the position full time.
Before supporting WCK, Margaret held senior HR leadership positions across diverse industries. She has served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Human Resources in both corporate and consulting capacities, where she partnered with executive teams to design organizational strategies, strengthen leadership pipelines, and cultivate inclusive, high-performing cultures.
Throughout her career, Margaret has specialized in talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and executive coaching. She holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), along with training in executive coaching and leadership development. These credentials reflect her commitment to advancing the HR profession and applying best practices in every organization she supports.
