Teresa Yung-Rodriguez

Teresa brings nearly two decades of experience in finance and operations to World Central Kitchen, with a strong commitment to using herexpertise to support an organization creating real impact. As Vice President of Finance & Accounting/Controller, she ensures WCK’s financial reporting and related processes are strong, reliable, and adaptable, providing thestability needed to sustain and grow its mission Teresa began her career at Ernst & Young (EY), specializing in audit and consulting for financial institutions, where she built a strong foundation in financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. She later spent time as North American Financial Controller for a global recycling company before making the exciting transition to mission-driven work. She served as Chief Operating Officer at CDP North America, a global nonprofit that helps companies and governments measure and manage their
environmental impact, and later as Chief Financial & Operating Officer at JUST Capital, an organization advancing corporate accountability and social responsibility.

Originally from Canada, Teresa earned a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo, obtaining her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation before moving to New York City and later Washington, DC, in pursuit of new adventures.

Outside of crunching numbers, she loves traveling, immersing herself in different cultures, and diving whenever she can—exploring the deep blue is her happy place.
