Tour WCK’s Florida warehouse turned field kitchen: cooking for thousands after Hurricane Helene & Hurricane Milton

October 15, 2024

Dylan takes us on a tour of WCK’s Field Kitchen in the Tampa area. Built days after Hurricane Helene made landfall, what was once a warehouse is now a kitchen capable of producing 30 thousand meals a day for families recovering from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

This Field Kitchen serves as WCK’s hub in Florida, central to our response to back-to-back hurricanes this fall. Partner food trucks and restaurants supplement the meals prepared at the kitchen, boosting our total meal output across the region. This collaborative approach is enhanced by volunteers who deliver meals to distribution sites or directly to people in need.

Join us in supporting families recovering from Hurricane Milton.
