Meet the Culinary Leaders in WCK’s Chef Corps

Thursday, July 25, 2024

Thursday, July 25, 2024 | 1:00 – 1:45pm ET

Chefs have a new mission that goes beyond serving memorable meals. A growing number of culinary professionals are using their platforms to better their industry or their communities. From sustainability and identity issues to improving the food our schools serve and the benefits restaurants offer their employees, chefs are tapping into their innate desire to serve their communities.

Senior Manager of WCK’s Chef Corps, Laura Hayes, will kick off the event by sharing insights into our global network of culinary leaders. This will be followed by an inside look at how chefs are championing causes they care about, spotlighting the Southern Smoke Foundation’s Chris Shepherd, the Dalton School’s Jaz Johnson, and chef and restaurateur Anita Jaisinghani.

All panelists are members of the Chef Corps. Learn how our global network of prominent culinary leaders make World Central Kitchen more nimble so we can be there with a nourishing meal for families in need. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with the WCK community moderated by Katherine Miller, author of “At the Table: The Chef’s Guide to Advocacy.”
