Eid Mubarak from WCK
As Ramadan comes to a close and Eid al-Fitr arrives, World Central Kitchen teams in Gaza, and across the world, want to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported our mission—our donors, our partners, and every helping hand along the way. Together, we distributed tens of millions of meals through our Ramadan food kits so families could cook for themselves and break their fast with dignity.
Throughout Ramadan, WCK teams across Gaza have been working to make sure families can mark this sacred month with the food and dignity they deserve. Our Ramadan food kits—each packed with traditional staples and enough food for up to 70 meals—ensured people could prepare dishes that have always been part of how they celebrate. At the same time, our community-centered network of field kitchens, partner restaurants, and local distribution sites keep operating, preparing hundreds of thousands of hot meals daily.
On the morning of Eid al-Fitr, WCK teams joined families at the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza to distribute special Eid cookies to mark the end of Ramadan. For people who have endured hardship, these cookies carry far more than sweetness—they are a moment of joy, a connection to home, and a reminder that even in the midst of crisis, celebration is possible. As families came together to mark the holiday, our teams were there alongside them.

Our local teams will keep doing what they do every day: show up to ensure anyone in need receives a nourishing meal.
