WCK is Continuing Humanitarian Assistance in Gaza
World Central Kitchen is continuing humanitarian assistance in Gaza. To maintain our meal numbers, and for all humanitarian organizations working in Gaza to continue their important work, a consistent flow of aid trucks must cross every day from Egypt into Gaza. Lately, that number has not been enough. While we are able to maintain our meal operations, we will not be able to do so indefinitely unless the flow is consistent and sustained. We are constructively working with all parties involved to solve this supply chain issue. WCK and all other humanitarian organizations, need immediate, regular humanitarian access so aid can flow safely and reliably from Egypt into Gaza. WCK will maintain our feeding operations as long as we have the food required.
