WCK Serving Thousands of Meals Amid Missile Strikes in Israel

June 20, 2025

As conflict escalates between Israel and Iran, World Central Kitchen has mobilized to provide fresh meals to civilians and first responders impacted by the violence.

Our team in Israel is delivering thousands of meals daily to people displaced by missile strikes and first responders working around the clock under extremely challenging conditions.

WCK is working with partners in northern, central, and southern Israel who are serving hundreds of meals daily.

Meals are reaching families in shelters as well as emergency personnel, including firefighters and medical teams. With rocket alerts ongoing and restrictions on public gatherings, WCK is delivering directly to locations where people are sheltering or responding to attacks.

In addition to existing meal operations, WCK is expanding efforts to reach newly affected cities, including Bat Yam, Rehovot, Haifa, and Tamra. Deliveries are coordinated in real time as new needs emerge.

  • Lina, who has three daughters and is four months pregnant, is proud of her efforts with WCK to provide food and hope to Palestinian communities in need. She currently works at Zomi’s Kitchen in Khan Younis, where our teams also make sure to support her with medical care.

  • Khaled’s favorite ingredient to cook with in Damian’s Kitchen is okra. He joined the team after evacuating from his home in northern Gaza and says working with WCK has created new meaning in his life. It’s not just a job. It’s a humanitarian mission aimed at providing support and hope to others.
