Newest WCK Field Kitchens in Gaza Start Operations
WCK’s newest Field Kitchens in Gaza, the Salam Kitchen in Deir al-Balah and Hayat Kitchen in Mawasi, are up and running. The teams there are preparing tens of thousands of hot meals daily, adding to our existing network in a major step towards our goal of 1 million meals daily for Palestinian families.
“The launch of the kitchens is both a milestone and a symbol of hope, reminding us that every effort counts in bringing nourishment and dignity,” said Wadhah, WCK Response Director.
