The major storm brought intense wind, heavy rain, flooding, and a dangerous storm surge. The Guerrero state government issued shelter-in-place orders. Our teams are mobilizing across the region to assess needs and partner with restaurants.
WCK teams reached isolated communities by all means available. From boats to ATVs, we ensured food reaches anyone in need.
This marks our third hurricane response in the region in three years—following Otis in 2023 and John in 2024.

WCK teams in Mexico are reaching isolated communities by all means available. To serve the coastal town of La Grúa in southern Oaxaca, we loaded hot meals onto a boat and crossed the lagoon. We served hearty plates of beef and vegetables to families who lost power during the storm.
