Thousands of first responders have been working to contain the blazes, many of which have been spreading since last weekend. This comes during a time of increasingly severe wildfires across the world as weather patterns become more and more extreme.
WCK’s food truck was up and running serving firefighters and first responders in Ávila, Spain, where wildfires threatened communities. In partnership with local restaurant La Comanda de Vico, we made sure firefighters got a hot meal to fuel their efforts.
In 2024, we responded to the devastating flooding in Valencia, where thousands of families were forced to evacuate and were living in shelters. During that time, we served over 6 million meals to these families.

WCK’s Chef Oli is on the ground in Mombeltrán, Spain, where wildfires are spreading rapidly due to high winds. We’re serving sandwiches and hot meals to first responders working to contain the flames, and partnering with local restaurants to quickly scale up support for impacted communities.
