Sejah Farm

Sejah Farm of the Virgin Islands is a multi-faceted farm operation that produces goats and sheep, poultry and eggs, and vegetables for local and off-island demands. Through their onsite farmers’ market they work with other small farmers to purchase, aggregate, and market their production to consumers, wholesale distributors, chefs, and restaurants. Firmly believing in the importance of community, they also provide agricultural technical assistance, education, training, and consultation to other farmers and the community.

Sejah Farm will acquire a dual-system cold storage unit, with both a walk-in cooler and freezer,  as well as a diesel generator to operate the unit in times of emergency. This purchase will not only impact Sejah Farm itself but other small farms in their community to whom they plan on providing free storage space. This opportunity will immediately resolve a long-term storage problem and increase production and their ability to aggregate produce from other small farms.
