Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

One of our Palestinian colleagues, Nadi Sallout, was killed tonight near Deir al-Balah, Gaza. He was an integral member of our warehouse team from the early days of our response in Rafah and a humanitarian at his very core. We are still learning the details of this tragedy, but believe he was off duty at the time. Our thoughts and support are with Nadi’s family and the rest of our dedicated team around the world as we mourn this tremendous loss. We will update our website as we learn more.

WCK’s Monica and Chef Wendy are in Fort White, Florida where we have set up our new Rapid Response Field Kitchen to cook for families impacted by Hurricane Debby. The vehicle, built with the support of @DollarGeneral, enables us to begin cooking thousands of meals in isolated communities immediately after a disaster.
