Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

Food is comfort, especially in the most difficult times. At a hospital in Israel, WCK took a special request from the 9 year old son of a freed hostage—he wanted sushi. So the WCK team brought sushi along with burgers, kabobs, rice, salad, hummus, pita & more #ChefsForThePeople

Despite unimaginable circumstances, WCK’s partners @AneraOrg continue to serve tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza every day. Today the team delivered meat-based, hot meals serving 23,000 people in shelters in Rafah, Khan Younis, and to families in the middle area.

At the same time, WCK’s Relief Team in Cairo is working tirelessly to send more trucks into Gaza. These trucks are filled with kitchen equipment, water systems & food. We are building a large scale kitchen in Rafah to feed as many people as we can—here’s Damien with an update.
