Jason Collis
Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

Nelly is in Krnov, Czech Republic with WCK as our teams connect with residents impacted by the devastating flooding. The community is without electricity and largely cut off from resources because fast moving water destroyed critical bridges. We distributed hot meals here today while determining how to best support people in need moving forward.

“My sisters, cousins, and I work together in this kitchen—the only one in the area,” says Najwa Abu Daher, sharing how WCK’s support enables them feed their community south of Deir al-Balah. “We prepare meals for thousands of families, trying to ease their suffering in this harsh war. We strive to bring joy and happiness to the children waiting for food.”
