Chief Relief Officer

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Relief Officer, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Chef Mikolaj, a longtime WCK partner, and his team joined WCK in Głuchołazy, Poland, where families are returning to their flood-damaged homes. They immediately began preparing a delicious tomato soup for residents, providing a warm and comforting meal to people beginning to clean up their communities.

  • Shifting weather conditions in southern California are giving firefighters an edge in battling the Line, Bridge, and Airport fires. WCK Relief Teams are on the ground supporting firefighters and families, some of whom are now able to return home as evacuation order begin to lift.

  • WCK is committed to supporting families forced to evacuate their homes near Russian military advances in northern and eastern Ukraine. In the past month, we provided 6,000 meals—including sandwiches, hot lunches, snacks, fresh fruit, and drinks—to families beginning their evacuation journey from the train station in Pokrovsk.
