Jason Collis
Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

WCK’s Relief Team works with members of the local community to distribute food kits in Lalpur. Flooding forced families from their homes, decimated local crops, and damaged roads. Much of the area is reachable only on foot. All aid must be carried by hand or on small carts to our distribution point at a local school.

WCK teams are always working to identify people in need of nourishing meals and clean water. Zomi’s Kitchen cooked five additional large pots of rice and stew for a school and displaced Palestinians living camps in Qizan an-Najjar. This kitchen, led and staffed primarily by local women, is always prepared to do everything possible to serve the community living in and around Khan Younis.
