Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • WCK’s team in southern Gaza provided purpose-built, wood pellet stoves to Palestinian families at a camp where many persons with disabilities are seeking shelter. Displaced Palestinians are often forced to use makeshift, unsafe stoves. WCK-provided stoves offer a safer, more efficient way to cook for people able to do so.

  • WCK delivers food kits, bread, and potable water to a small settlement of nine families who were forced to evacuate their homes on the frontlines and now live in Bohdanivka. This regular delivery is a three hour round trip journey from the WCK warehouse. Our mission is to ensure that even the smallest communities receive the support they need.

  • Ali and his brother ran a restaurant in northern Gaza until they were displaced by fighting in the region. Now, Ali puts his extensive culinary experience to use as a cook at one of WCK’s kitchens in central Gaza. As he did in his restaurant, Ali works passionately to provide comfort and hope, one plate of food at a time.
