Jason Collis
Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

“Each visit feels like a celebration for the whole village. It’s so joyful when we gather and chat. We really enjoy it. There are many children in the village, and they eagerly await your visits too. The seniors look forward to the food kits because of the cookies.” WCK began delivering monthly food kits to Novohryhorivske, Anna’s community in southern Ukraine, in 2022.

Meals from WCK’s Al-Mawasi Field Kitchen are reaching displaced Palestinians sheltering in surrounding camps. We often see kids come pick up food with big pots that they then take back to their families. The Al-Mawasi kitchen is our only large-scale kitchen currently able to operate amid widespread attacks and evacuation orders.
