John Debus

John Debus currently serves as Interim CFO of World Central Kitchen, where he is providing financial leadership and strategic support during a critical period of organizational growth and global impact.

Previously, John was a Managing Director in FTI’s Corporate Finance practice, where he served as a strategic, analytical, and operationally focused Senior Executive with over 30 years of experience, providing support to companies throughout each stage of their life-cycle.

He has a data-driven approach, partnering with executive teams as an advisor or in seat as a Company CFO, to architect and execute value creation business transformations, working with companies ranging in value from several million to more than $3 billion.

John provides a complete range of financial consulting, management, and advisory services, principally to telecom, technology, manufacturing, and media companies, with domestic US and international locations.

He has worked on more than 45 funding, M&A, integration, and carve-out transactions, advising on both deal and organizational structure. His value creation transformations focus on organization design, process engineering, peer benchmarking, and optimization of financial systems.

His experience includes management of all aspects of a company’s back office, including accounting, finance, treasury, tax, SEC reporting, risk management, legal and regulatory, call center operations, human resources, business intelligence, and information technology and systems.
