1 Million Pounds of Food, 20,000 Meals for Hurricane Relief
When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, we were able to act fast and efficiently thanks to the chef community, support of our donors, and food companies that donated over one million pounds of food to our relief efforts! So far, we have prepared and served over 20,000 meals through our partners on the ground including Bryan Caswell’s Reef Restaurant, the Texas Children’s Hospital, and the GRB Convention Center.
We are continuing to support families affected as they begin to rebuild. Thank you for helping World Central Kitchen use the power of food to strengthen communities in times of need.
