500 Million Meals Served Worldwide

June 11, 2025

World Central Kitchen has now served more than 500 million meals worldwide. This milestone is made possible by the communities we serve and the global network of chefs, volunteers, partners, and supporters who share a belief in the power of food to bring comfort, hope, and resilience.

This extraordinary milestone is a powerful reminder of the collective impact made possible by every member of the WCK family. I have deep gratitude for every WCK supporter and team member for the heart, skill, and relentless commitment you bring to this mission every single day.

Javier Garcia

Interim WCK CEO

Since our founding 15 years ago, following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, every response has taught us something new. We’ve learned to move faster, reach farther, and listen more closely—from building large-scale kitchens after hurricanes to supporting families fleeing war.

Responding to disasters in real time means adapting constantly. But no matter the crisis, our commitment remains the same: feed people with dignity.

As we mark this moment, we’re still on the ground serving fresh meals to communities in need around the world.
