First Alert: WCK Relief Team En Route to Globe, AZ, After Deadly Flooding
World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is on our way to Globe, Arizona, where rainstorms caused deadly flooding and destruction. Many families have been displaced, with local schools serving as temporary shelters and the Apache Gold Casino & Resort providing meals to its neighbors.
Although the storms impacted the entire region, the town of Globe was hit especially hard. WCK teams are en route to connect with community members and offer support.
We will also work with Arizona-based chef Bobby Vollmer to provide sandwiches as we meet with families.
