In Nepal, thousands of families have been displaced due to last week’s devastating flash flooding. First responders are rushing to rescue missing people, and many community members are stepping up for each other amid the uncertainty. Hear from WCK Response Director John Torpey on the ground in Nepal about the challenges our teams and partners are facing as we work to serve impacted families.
As people are evacuated, we want to be there. We’ve been setting up community kitchens all over Bidur. We’re scouting and moving kitchens all over the affected area as fast as we can.
