Driver Transporting WCK Aid in Gaza Killed by IDF
World Central Kitchen is devastated that a driver who worked for our partner logistics company was killed today by the Israel Defense Forces while transporting goods from the Kerem Shalom border crossing to one of our warehouses in Gaza.
Ahmad Nasser Saleem was doing what so many of our partners do every day in Gaza—working to get food to hungry people. We are in contact with his family, and our deepest grief is with them. WCK expects a full accounting of what happened. Humanitarian aid deliveries should never be a target.
