Meet the Press: WCK’s Aline on the Urgent Food Need in Lebanon
As conflict keeps forcing families from their homes across Lebanon, the hunger crisis is deepening, and the need for sustained food support remains urgent. Since March 2, WCK has served more than 1.7 million meals to families displaced by the fighting. WCK Chef Corps member Aline Kamakian, who has been on the ground in Beirut leading our response throughout the crisis, joined NBC’s Meet the Press NOW to share what she is witnessing firsthand. Her account offers a direct look at what displacement looks like for the families WCK is serving every day—and why our kitchen teams must keep cooking.
