Generally, you can visit World Central Kitchen’s websites without revealing any personal information about yourself. This information is used to compile data such as the number of visits our site receives, the average time spent on the site, the pages viewed, etc. Aggregate information does not identify any individual person. We collect this anonymous data to measure the use of our site and to help us improve the site.
There are some instances in which you may choose to provide personal information to World Central Kitchen. This may include subscribing to our e-newsletter, making a donation, purchasing tickets to events, and/or registering for a volunteer shift online. Online donors, ticket purchasers, and volunteers will be added to World Central Kitchen’s constituent database and email distribution lists and may occasionally be contacted by mail. World Central Kitchen does not rent, share, or sell any constituent contact information (address, phone, email) with any third party organizations.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information, such as credit card data, through our website, this information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
