WCK Serves Meals in Colorado After Destructive Aspen Acres Wildfires
The burn area encompassed over 22,000 acres, and towns like Beulah, Rye, and San Isabel issued mandatory evacuation orders. High winds caused the fires to spread quickly, and many families were forced to stay in evacuation shelters as first responders work to contain the flames. The fires also disrupted roadways, and many residents were advised to stay indoors due to poor air quality.
