WCK’s Relief Team is in Pueblo, Colorado, where thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes due to wildfires.
The burn area currently encompasses over 22,000 acres, and towns like Beulah, Rye, and San Isabel have issued mandatory evacuation orders. High winds are causing the fires to spread quickly, and many families are staying in evacuation shelters as first responders work to contain the flames. The fires have also disrupted roadways, and many residents have been advised to stay indoors due to poor air quality.
