Estimates say that about 10,000 people lost power as a result and more than 700 buildings were destroyed, with the fire 0% contained. WCK teams and our local partners served meals to families and first responders as recovery began.

Fires in the Spokane area have burned more than 10,000 acres and forced around 65,000 people under evacuation orders, with hundreds of homes and businesses destroyed. WCK is on the ground alongside local partners like Caruso’s, where Chefs Brystol and Heidi are cooking hot meals and sandwiches to take directly to impacted families. We are grateful for partners like Caruso’s who show up when it matters most.
