World Central Kitchen is responding in Spokane, Washington, where blazing wildfires have forced more than 60,000 people out of their homes, blocked roadways, and impacted access to food.
Current estimates say that about 10,000 people have lost power as a result and more than 700 buildings are destroyed, with the fire 0% contained. WCK teams and our local partners are serving meals to families and first responders as recovery begins.
In December of 2025, WCK teams worked with our community partners in Washington to serve families impacted by destructive flooding. From flooding to wildfires, our teams are committed to standing with communities impacted by climate-related disasters.
