Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • “The lighting and thunder started at 11 pm and at 2 am the river broke its banks. It was chaotic, there was screaming and shouting. People were rescuing neighbors caught in the flooding.” Maria is from the Trincheras community in Venezuela’s state of Sucre. The region was impacted by severe flooding as Hurricane Beryl swept through the region. WCK is providing families here with nourishing meals and water.

  • WCK’s Max is dropping off 190 meals in Bushy Park in southern Jamaica. Flooding caused by Hurricane Beryl here left families in this community cut off from neighboring towns. Our team has been providing food here for several days and will come back with more as recovery efforts continue.

  • Canouan, an island on the Grenadines archipelago, suffered extensive damage when Hurricane Beryl hit. Hundreds of people here remain in urgent need of food. WCK is working with local partner Glendin’s Kitchen to provide 1,000 warm meals daily of regional staples like this fish cooked in creole sauce and served over noodles and lentils.
