Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

WCK’s kitchen in Deir al-Balah prepared mujadara for families sheltering in central Gaza. Our teams regularly cook this comforting regional dish of rice and lentils to provide a taste of home to displaced Palestinians. Mujadara is traditionally served at family gatherings, with everyone participating in its preparation and cooking.

WCK’s Oleksii is in Kyiv at the site of an apartment building bombed during yesterday’s Russian airstrikes that targeted many cities across Ukraine. Immediately following the attack WCK was on the scene to provide 1,500 sandwiches and 575 hot meals and we are back today to support emergency workers with hundreds more meals.
