Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • WCK is supporting families in Venezuela who were displaced last week after Hurricane Beryl caused widespread flooding in the state of Sucre. An estimated 25,000 people were impacted when hundreds of homes were destroyed and thousands more damaged. We are working with longtime partners in the country who also supported our 2022 response to Hurricane Julia.

  • WCK’s Shadi is checking in from central Gaza where we have set up a meal distribution site for Palestinians evacuating from the north. Families make the long, dangerous journey on foot as they seek safety further south. We greet people with meals and water and offer a space for them to wash up and rest.

  • WCK’s Chef Olí is in Moores Pen, Jamaica delivering supplies so Chef Sheryl can cook hundreds of meals daily for families impacted by Hurricane Beryl. This is the second kitchen like this we are supporting in southern Jamaica.
