    Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

    Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

    • Nelly is checking in from Carriacou, a Grenadian island that was devastated by Hurricane Beryl. WCK teams are distributing sandwiches and working quickly to connect with local communities to determine where we’ll return with hot meals, ensuring we can support as many people as we can.

    • WCK is working with local partners in Jamaica to provide meals to families impacted by Hurricane Beryl. In Kingston, Mark Chong’s Catering provided baked chicken and stewed pork served with rice and greens. The storm battered communities along the country’s southern coast, displacing many families.

    • Update from Gaza 🎥 WCK’s Chef Samar is at our woman-run, woman-operated Field Kitchen in Khan Younis. Our team here is scaling up production and cooked 5,000 meals today. We will continue to increase capacity to reach as many Palestinians in need as possible.
