Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • WCK teams in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are using helicopters to reach islands impacted by Hurricane Beryl. On Mayreau, an island of 350, John helped us unload cases of water for his neighbors.

  • Chef Nasser is from Kounine, a town in southern Lebanon impacted by conflict on the border with Israel. He started working alongside WCK when families in his community were first being displaced by bombardment. Nasser takes pride in cooking local favorites for neighbors in need. His specialty is preparing comforting stews that offer a taste of home.

  • WCK’s Emergency Response Team provided water, coffee, and snacks to first responders searching for survivors after Saturday’s deadly attack on the southeastern Ukrainian town of Vilniansk. The strike hit residential and commercial buildings and caused fires in the area. Seven people, including three children, were killed in the attack.
