Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Tacos Pita is a family-run business that has been working alongside WCK since we first responded to the wildfires in New Mexico. They have provided 4,500 plates of comforting Mexican classics to people in Roswell and Ruidoso. This weekend they will be serving families in the Mescalero Apache Reservation.

  • Amira is proud to join the team of Palestinian women at Zomi’s Kitchen, WCK’s newest Field Kitchen in Gaza named after one of our team members killed in April 1’s IDF attack. “We stand side by side to provide humanitarian service to people in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing conflict.”

  • WCK is working shoulder to shoulder with kitchen partners across southern Lebanon to provide meals to families displaced by conflict in the region. In Saida, one of our restaurant partners has scaled to cook 1,500 meals daily. In total, our teams are providing more than 5,000 meals each day to people sheltering in southern Lebanon.
