Chief Relief Officer

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Relief Officer, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

He joined the team after evacuating from his home in northern Gaza and says working with WCK has created new meaning in his life. It’s not just a job. It’s a humanitarian mission aimed at providing support and hope to others.

  • This week, WCK responded to a Russian strike on a retirement home in Sumy. The attack partially destroyed two floors of the building, killing one person and injuring at least 14 more. Our team arrived quickly to provide support, distributing hot meals, sandwiches, and drinks to seniors being relocated to other care centers as well as rescue services on site.

  • WCK teams in Głuchołazy are using several distribution methods to ensure we can support as many communities impacted by the flooding as possible. We used ATVs to reach remote areas that are otherwise inaccessible, going door to door to provide comforting bowls of soup and hot meals.
