Chief Relief Officer

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Relief Officer, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • WCK’s Trish checks in from Nysa, Poland where rising flood waters knocked out bridges into the city center. As we assessed food needs, we provided sandwiches to families sheltering at hotels and schools. Almost 30 areas near Nysa are also under evacuation orders as Central Europe faces historic and deadly flooding. We’re readying food truck partners to begin meeting the need for warm, comforting meals in Poland and Czech Republic.

  • WCK delivered meals to the Pointe-Au-Chien Indian Tribe Center with the support of Cherie, the tribe’s Culture Heritage and Resiliency Coordinator. While helping dish up the fresh pasta prepared in our Rapid Response Relief Kitchen, she told us that their community is still recovering from Hurricane Ida, which destroyed 95% of their homes in 2021.
