Chief Relief Officer

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Relief Officer, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • The team at the WCK-supported Abu Armanah community kitchen prepares fresh bread at dawn every day to distribute with warm, nourishing meals to families in displacement camps in Khan Younis. “We don’t consider ourselves just cooks; we create hope with every meal,” one of the team members told us.

  • More than 300 families living in small villages in the Kharkiv region of northeastern Ukraine boarding Russia receive WCK food kits containing enough staple ingredients to make over 20 meals. These kits are critical—providing much needed support to those enduring constant shelling and scarce basic necessities.

  • WCK teams delivered food kits with more than 14,000 meals to Sadullapur, Bangladesh, which was heavily impacted by monsoon flooding. Many homes in this community were completely swept away in the floodwaters, and the local high school still has many classrooms underwater.
