Jason Collis

Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Scenes with WCK from Coldwater First Nation tonight! 📸 Western Canada has been hit with atmospheric rivers bringing floods, mudslides & road closures. In response, we set up a distribution of fresh, organic produce for the community as grocery stores work to reopen & restock. 🍎

  • Last week, 16 chefs completed WCK’s Chef Relief Training at @grcc in Michigan, gaining the skills & knowledge needed to lead community-based responses to local disasters. Participants made arroz con pollo cooking with large paella pans—a technique we’ve used around the world. 🥘
