Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • A Russian strike in Kryvyi Rih damaged dozens of buildings, including apartment complexes, educational institutions, public facilities, and shops. While there were no fatalities, many residents are now missing windows, doors, or electricity at home. WCK’s Emergency Response team arrived at the scene of the attacks with hundreds of sandwiches, soups, cookies, snack bars, drinks, and hot meals.

  • Student volunteers from Feni University unload hundreds of meals at Silonia High School where families displaced by the flooding are sheltering. The college students are also working as translators, helping WCK teams communicate with the local community.

  • Hanan, a mother of seven, was forced to leave her home in Beit Hanoun 10 months ago and seek safety in Deir al-Balah. Hot meals and food kits from WCK have been a lifeline for her and other families living in displacement camps. “We didn’t know how we would feed our children after being displaced, but WCK’s support came when we needed it most,” she told us.
