Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations

Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

Bordhol is one of the villages most heavily affected by the ongoing flooding. It is very difficult to make any supply deliveries to this community—the only way to reach it right now is by boat. WCK distributed desperately needed food kits to impacted residents.

Hanaa and Maysaa are back at work in Zomi’s Kitchen preparing bread. WCK’s newest Field Kitchen reopened last week after being forced to close for a month due to active conflict in the area. Palestinians living in camps for the displaced in southern Gaza help deliver the traditional bread to their neighbors in hard-to-reach areas.
