Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Ali and his brother ran a restaurant in northern Gaza until they were displaced by fighting in the region. Now, Ali puts his extensive culinary experience to use as a cook at one of WCK’s kitchens in central Gaza. As he did in his restaurant, Ali works passionately to provide comfort and hope, one plate of food at a time.

  • Inna, WCK’s Emergency Response Lead in Kharkiv, checks in from the scene of a deadly Russian missile strike on a 16-story residential apartment complex that took the lives of six people and injured dozens more. Over the course of two days, WCK provided 1,200 meals and thousands of bottles of water to the building’s residents, volunteers, and rescue teams on site.

  • Areas of eastern Bangladesh are facing a clean water crisis after more than a week of severe flooding contaminated local water sources. The floods also damaged roads, making it impossible for our trucks to reach communities in need. All water must be carried to our distribution point by hand.
