Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Anton checks in from the train station in Dnipro, Ukraine where WCK is supporting families forced to evacuate Pokrovsk as Russian forces advance in the Donetsk region. Many of the arrivals were forced to leave their belongings behind to seek safety. WCK welcomes them with nourishing food and drink as well as compassion for the journeys they’ve endured.

  • Sona was forced to seek shelter in a nearby school with her family after their house in Tilagaon was under flood waters for more than a week. They are now facing the challenge of rebuilding their home. Sona picked up WCK-provided food kits that will help her cook for her family during the difficult recovery efforts.

  • WCK distributes loaves of bread to hospitals and displaced families in southern Gaza, sometimes more than 50,000 loaves at a time. These efforts come amidst extremely difficult conditions leading to shortages of essential food and other supplies. Each loaf is a potential lifeline for thousands relying on this support for survival.
