Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Work at Zomi’s Kitchen has resumed after being closed for a month due to active conflict and evacuation orders in the area. The team at Zomi’s Kitchen, named for one of our heroes killed in an IDF strike on a WCK convoy on April 1, can produce 11,800 daily meals for local residents and displaced families living in camps surrounding Khan Younis.

  • WCK is distributing meal kits near Bhakshimail, Bangladesh. Kits containing more than 30,000 meals have already been delivered to families identified as needing assistance with food and water during our team’s scouting journeys earlier this week. Some kits contain ingredients like puffed rice, powdered milk, and molasses for families who have the ability to cook at home.
