Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

We are committed to nourishing people by any means necessary. In Gaza, this has meant transporting meals by truck, boat, plane, or even donkeys. One of WCK’s community kitchens near Khan Younis delivers large pots of food to nearly 20 camps of local residents and people displaced from homes elsewhere in Gaza on a daily basis. The kitchen plays a vital role in providing not only hot meals, but also hope for those living through impossible conditions in the camps.

WCK’s #ChefsForUkraine team recently provided support to a summer camp in Zaporizhzhia that hosts children whose families have had to flee their homes on the frontlines. This initiative helps restore a sense of normalcy for these children and brings them moments of joy while they are living under unthinkable circumstances.
